City Government of Meycauayan led by Mayor Linnabelle Ruth R. Villarica ramped up its defense against the Corona Virus Disease as they provide each public school of Meycauayan 2 units of Thermal Scanner.

                The current scare of COVID-19 (Corona virus Disease 2019) had brought alarm to the public especially on schools. Avoiding close contact to people exposed to the virus had been advised by Health professionals. To protect our pupils from being infected, one way to protect them is early detection of possible individual carrying the said virus. Patients with COVID-19 have reportedly had mild to severe respiratory illness. Symptoms an include cough, shortness of breath and fever.

                To ensure the safety of pupils in all public schools of Meycauayan, each entry gate of all public schools will have 2 units of Thermal Scanner. The device will be use as a primary means of fever screening. The City Government of Meycauayan ensures the public in their assistance to help contain the epidemic.
